POSITION
Trans States Airlines, Inc.
currently employs approximately 250 flight crewmembers and
operates a fleet of 26 EMB-145 aircraft.
All crewmembers begin as First Officers and are expected to
upgrade to the position of Captain as seniority and experience
allows.
BASIC
QUALIFICATIONS
| Education: |
High School Graduate. Two year
associate degree or equivalent is preferred.
|
| License: |
FAA Commercial pilot license with
instrument and Multi-engine land ratings. ATP is
preferred.
|
| Experience: |
1000 hours Fixed wing flight time.
200 hours Mutli-engine flight time. Turbine
experience preferred.
|
| Medical: |
You must have a current first class
medical certificate.
|
| Height: |
Sufficient to operate all controls.
|
| Weight: |
In proportion to height.
|
|
Citizenship: |
You must be an U.S. citizen or possess
permanent residents visa. Trans States Airlines, Inc.
cannot sponsor individuals or assist in obtaining an U.S. Visa. |
COMPENSATION
You
will receive salary while in training. Upon completion of
training and assignment to a domicile, you will be paid an
hourly rate times a guaranteed number of hours.
Additionally, a per diem allowance is paid for each hour spent
away from your domicile.
TRAINING
Initial flight crew training courses are conducted at Trans
States Airlines, Inc. Flight Crew Training Center in St. Louis,
Missouri. Trans States Airlines, Inc. uses highly
sophisticated simulators, teaching devices and instructor
techniques in the ground and flight training curriculums.

DOMICILES
When
you have completed training, you will be assigned a domicile
based on the needs of Trans States Airlines, Inc. Our
current domiciles include: St. Louis
and Washington - Dulles, VA.
COMPANY BENEFITS

spouse, your eligible children and your parents will be eligible

obtained for a nominal service charge. Travel privileges

Life Insurance: Free Life Insurance is provided by Trans States
Airlines, Inc. with options available for additional coverage.
Vacation: A crewmember who has completed one year of
service receives 7 days paid vacation. After the second
year, 14 days paid vacation. After eight years, 21 days
paid vacation. After ten years, 28 days paid vacation.
Retirement: You may provide retirement income for yourself
and family through a company sponsored 401K Retirement Plan that
is available after one year of employment.
