Reports To:   Duty Manager

 

Job Summary:   

 

Maintenance Controller with section of the GMM as applies to Maintenance Control Duties. Have responsibility to ensure that mechanical irregularities occurring during flight operations are handled in a safe and expeditious manner.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

§         Coordinate with dispatch, parts department, and maintenance personnel for any parts and/or manpower that may be required.

§         Monitor and coordinate line maintenance activity.

§         Report mechanical irregularities encountered during flight operations to the Director of Quality Control or the Manager of Technical Services. 

§         Maintain and control deferred discrepancies.

§         Keep system control notified of current MEL status.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

§         High School Diploma or GED, or any combination of education and experience enabling one to perform job functions.

§         Must possess and maintain current FAA Airman Certificate, with both A&P ratings.

§         SAAB 340 or Bombardier Q400 experience.
