A&P/IA Mechanic– Mesa Pilot Development Department   This position is located at Williams Gateway Airport and is a Mechanic position for the aircraft used in the Pilot Development Program ** NOT Mesa Airline commercial fleet **   Job Title:  A& P / IA Mechanic – Mesa Pilot Development Job code:   Reports To: Maintenance Manager - MAPDMX CO: 06 Dept 6010 Location: IWA Status: Non Exempt Salary Range:      EEO1 6 EEO JobGroup 6A Position Summary: 100hr/Annual inspections including troubleshooting discrepancies found in the flight school environment, (fleet of aircraft including PA28-161’s, A-36,B-58) R&R of components, oil changes, parts ordering and Organization, aircraft scheduling, coordination for off-field MX, aircraft Logbook upkeep and AD research, 337 forms and Annual signoffs (IA).     Essential Functions:   Good communicator, Detail oriented, hard working and thorough, must be able to Multi-task and prioritize assignments.  Must be able to effectively troubleshoot all aircraft systems Will be responsible for making critical decisions regarding aircraft safety in a timely manner Must be able to perform all line maintenance functions unsupervised, at any time Will be responsible for proficiency in all documentation and paperwork, including parts paperwork Must have excellent communication and people skills Problem solving and organizational skills are required Exercise good judgment in working with people in a team environment as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety   Minimum Job Requirements: Must hold at least a valid A&P Certificate (IA certification preferred but not required) Some experience preferred but not required Must be familiar with and be able to read and understand Company and Manufacturer Manuals   Management Approval:   Date:   HR Approval:   Date:       Schedule: Full Time DAY position M - F, must be open to working weekends and nights if necessary.
