This position is located at Williams Gateway Airport and is a Mechanic position for the aircraft used in the Pilot Development Program ** NOT Mesa Airline commercial fleet **

Position Summary:

100hr/Annual inspections including troubleshooting discrepancies found in the flight school environment, (fleet of aircraft including PA28-161’s, A-36,B-58) R&R of components, oil changes, parts ordering and Organization, aircraft scheduling, coordination for off-field MX, aircraft Logbook upkeep and AD research, 337 forms and Annual signoffs (IA).

 

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Good communicator, Detail oriented, hard working and thorough, must be able to Multi-task and prioritize assignments. 
  • Must be able to effectively troubleshoot all aircraft systems
  • Will be responsible for making critical decisions regarding aircraft safety in a timely manner
  • Must be able to perform all line maintenance functions unsupervised, at any time
  • Will be responsible for proficiency in all documentation and paperwork, including parts paperwork
  • Must have excellent communication and people skills
  • Problem solving and organizational skills are required
  • Exercise good judgment in working with people in a team environment as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety

 

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Must hold at least a valid A&P Certificate (IA certification preferred but not required)
  • Some experience preferred but not required
  • Must be familiar with and be able to read and understand Company and Manufacturer Manuals

Schedule:

Full Time DAY position M - F, must be open to working weekends and nights if necessary.

Occasional overtime will be offered.
