A&P/IA Mechanic– Mesa Pilot Development Department This position is located at Williams Gateway Airport and is a Mechanic position for the aircraft used in the Pilot Development Program ** NOT Mesa Airline commercial fleet ** | Job Title: | A& P / IA Mechanic – Mesa Pilot Development | | Job code: | | Reports To: | Maintenance Manager - MAPDMX | | CO: | 06 | Dept | 6010 | Location: | IWA | Status: | Non Exempt | | Salary Range: | | EEO1 | 6 | EEO JobGroup | 6A | | Position Summary: | | 100hr/Annual inspections including troubleshooting discrepancies found in the flight school environment, (fleet of aircraft including PA28-161’s, A-36,B-58) R&R of components, oil changes, parts ordering and Organization, aircraft scheduling, coordination for off-field MX, aircraft Logbook upkeep and AD research, 337 forms and Annual signoffs (IA). | | Essential Functions: | | -
Good communicator, Detail oriented, hard working and thorough, must be able to Multi-task and prioritize assignments. -
Must be able to effectively troubleshoot all aircraft systems -
Will be responsible for making critical decisions regarding aircraft safety in a timely manner -
Must be able to perform all line maintenance functions unsupervised, at any time -
Will be responsible for proficiency in all documentation and paperwork, including parts paperwork -
Must have excellent communication and people skills -
Problem solving and organizational skills are required -
Exercise good judgment in working with people in a team environment as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety | | Minimum Job Requirements: | -
Must hold at least a valid A&P Certificate (IA certification preferred but not required) -
Some experience preferred but not required -

Occasional overtime will be offered.
