Position Summary:

Responsible for transporting guests to and from multiple points in the Phoenix metropolitan area.

Essential Functions:

  • Pick up or meet employees/customers according to requests, appointments, or schedules.
  • Communicate with dispatchers by radio, telephone, or computer to exchange information and receive requests for passenger service. 
  • Follow regulations governing vehicle operation and ensure passengers follow safety regulations.
  • Notify dispatchers or company mechanics of vehicle problems.
  • Perform errands for customers or employees, such as delivering or picking up mail and packages.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as regulating tire pressure and adding gasoline, oil, and water.
  • Provide passengers with assistance entering and exiting vehicles, and help them with any luggage.
  • Provide passengers with information about the local area and points of interest, or give advice on hotels and restaurants.
  • Vacuum and clean interiors, and wash and polish exteriors of automobiles.
  • Follow traffic laws.
  • Maintain or repair cargo or passenger vehicle.
  • Service vehicle with water, fuel, or oil.
  • Be able to use two-way radio or mobile phone.
  • Must be able to work in all areas of the daily operations and complete duties as assigned simultaneously
  • Light clerical duty and function as a guest receptionist for a company dormitory lodging facility, checking guests in and out, answering and redirecting phone calls and guests’ services, as required. 
  • Maintain grounds keeping duties (as necessary), basic carpentry and plumbing skills.

 

 

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to read and comprehend maps.
  • Required in maintaining a clean driving record free of violations and or accidents while also operating company vehicle(s).
  • High School Degree or Equivalent.
  • Valid state (AZ) drivers license with a clean driving record (furnish copy of 5 yr. driving record).
  • Must be a self-starter, dependable, reliable and customer orientated.
  • Team Player who is prompt and can maintain a schedule.
  • Must be able to pass 10-yr. background check.
  • Subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
  • Must be flexible and willing to work weekdays, weekends, nights and grave yard shifts, and be on call for sick days, act as coverage person for vacations and holidays.
