Ramp Agents (Baggage Handlers) Full Time We are only hiring for FULL-TIME agents at this time.   Position Summary: Ramp agents are expected to perform all duties and responsibilities in a safe and compliant manner. Essential Functions:   -   Transfers baggage and cargo from/to aircraft and protect it against weather, loss, theft and damage. -   Operates all ground equipment i.e. belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, tugs, bag carts, lavatory carts and de-icing units . -   Work outdoors in all types of weather conditions and the environment that the ramp entails such as around loud aircraft and machinery. -   Exceptional interpersonal skills with an ability to get along with others. -   Cleans and services the aircraft lavatory. -   May perform the duties of a commissary agent including stocking aircraft with items necessary for flight (drinks, peanuts, napkins, etc.). -   Completes paperwork and forms connected with work assignments pertaining to procedures -   To take on any responsibilities and tasks deemed necessary by the ramp manager or ramp supervisor. -   Comply with all safety procedures and Station Policies. -   Responsible for maintaining a Safe and Hazard free work environment -   Maintain the physical demands that are required on the ramp.   Minimum Job Requirements:   -   Must be a team player. -   Must obtain a minimum of a high school diploma or GED. -   Must be at least 18 yrs old with a valid US driver's license and a good driving record. -   Must pass FAA 10-year background check. -   Must be able to lift 70 lbs and pass a physical lifting test. -   Must be flexible, willing to work various hours, holidays, nights and weekends. -   Must be able to work by climbing, bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling to get in and around aircraft and equipment. -   Being able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently. -   Ability to work under stressful situations and tight time constraints.     Interview dates and times are for the Phoenix station only: Local applicants only please.
