Careers RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Maintenance Programs Engineer reports to the Maintenance Programs Manager and is responsible for the following:
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Some repetitive motion such as typing. Position requires some physical exertion such as pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking and light lifting of boxes, bags and electronic equipment not in excess of 50 lbs. May involve long periods of standing or sitting. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed at Pinnacle’s corporate offices in an office environment. Position requires interaction with office personnel, external customers and FAA personnel. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: College degree in Engineering (aerospace preferred) with five years of airline operations maintenance program experience or FAA issued mechanic certification with Airframe and Powerplant ratings and five years of airline operations maintenance program experience or equivalent is required. Knowledge and understanding of MSG-3 processes and functions is required. Must be capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects and posses strong communication and presentation skills to work with all levels across the M&E Division. Advanced word processing skills and intermediate Excel spreadsheet skills are required. Intermediate to advanced level of computer typing skills required. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Advanced knowledge and skills of computer applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point software is required. Proficiency in written/oral communications, research and analytical skills are required. Must be willing to work occasional odd hours including some evening, weekends and Holidays. Occasional travel is required. Must possess valid drivers license and if position requires use of company vehicle(s), must be insurable under company insurance coverage.
