Senior Inspector

    SENIOR INSPECTOR 

    Position determines airworthiness of aircraft and components IAW established procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS  

    • Works under the supervision of the Director of Quality Assurance. 
    • Supervises and schedules all Quality Assurance inspectors. 
    • Demonstrate the maturity, judgment, and analytical ability to objectively audit all aspects of aircraft maintenance, fuel and repair vendors. 
    • Performs additional duties as assigned.   

     TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS  

    • Position requires some physical exertion such as pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking and light lifting of boxes, bags, files, etc. not in excess of 30 lbs

     TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS 

    • Can involve long periods of sitting.  

     MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

    • High School Diploma or GED is required. 
    • Valid Airframe and Powerplant mechanic license and have at least 3 years experience maintaining large aircraft of 10 or more seats at least one year of which was spent as a maintenance inspector is required. 
    • (FAR 119.65) This meets regulatory requirements to be assigned duties of the DQA in his absence. 
    • Ability to work extra hours as required.
    • Available for limited business travel as required.
    • Possession of a valid driverís license is required and if position requires use of company vehicle(s), must be insurable under company insurance coverage.
