Job Summary

This program is designed to identify strong candidates from Embry-Riddle in order to provide them a structured pathway to a career as a Frontier pilot.

Basic Student Qualifications

For a student to be qualified for interview under this Agreement, he or she must meet the following qualifications:

General

Frontier requires the following initial qualifications prior to being offered a conditional offer of pool placement:

  • GPA of 3.2/4.0 or above
  • Letters of recommendation from two Embry-Riddle professors or administrators
  • No disciplinary records from the previous 24 calendar months
  • No more than two sick days used per rolling academic year
  • Successfully pass an interview with Frontier and maintain these qualifications prior to starting employment

Pilot Specific

Frontier requires the following qualifications prior to a potential hire being transitioned from the pool to a class date, along with the items listed under a. General:

  • First Class Medical with first class privileges
  • 600+ total time hours
  • No more than one check ride/stage check failure during the previous rolling 12 calendar months
  • No more than three total check ride/stage check failures in total during their pilot training at Embry-Riddle
  • No accidents or incidents on their pilot record
  • No certificate enforcement action (pending or adjudicated) on their pilot record
  • First Class medical certificate
  • ATP license, or ability to obtain license when experience permits
  • Meet Frontier's minimum requirements as listed on www.flyfrontier.com
