Job Summary

This program is designed to identify strong candidates from Purdue in order to provide them a structured pathway to a career as a Frontier pilot.

Purdue First Officer Hiring Requirements

FAA commercial pilot's license with instrument and multi-engine ratings

  • First Class Medical with first class privileges
  • 600+ total time hours
  • ATP or r-ATP eligible
  • Current first-class FAA medical certificate
  • Eligible for ATP written (company covers cost of ATP-CTP for successful candidates)
  • Valid U.S. passport
  • FCC Radio Operator's Permit
  • Legal right to work in, and travel freely in and out of, the United States
  • Bachelor of Science in Aviation Curriculum
  • Minimum of 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA)
  • Recommendations from at least two Purdue professors
  • Available any day of the week, nights, weekends, holidays and overnights

Preferred

  • Leaders within their communities
  • Members of Purdue club or organizations
  • Community service
