Job Summary

This program is designed to identify strong candidates from UND in order to provide them a structured pathway to a career as a Frontier pilot. Selected First Officers will have the ability to return to UND while on a Leave of Absence from Frontier to work as an advanced instructor for the university. If you are not a pilot from the UND program, please choose a different job to apply into.

General Hiring Requirements

  • GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above
  • No disciplinary records from the previous 24 calendar months
  • Successfully pass an interview with Frontier and maintain these qualifications prior to starting employment

  • Recommendations from at least two UND professors or administrators

Pilot Specific Hiring Requirements

  • First Class Medical with first class privileges
  • 600+ total time hours
  • No more than 1 check ride/end of course failure during the previous rolling 12 calendar months
  • No more than 2 total check ride/end of course failures in total during their pilot training at UND
  • No accidents or incidents on their pilot record
  • No certificate enforcement action (pending or adjudicated) on their pilot record
  • ATP or restricted ATP license preferred, or ability to obtain license when experience permits (need to be able to provide required documentation)
  • FCC Radio Operator's Permit
  • Valid U.S. passport, with machine-readable print, and the ability to travel in and out of the United States
  • Legal right to work in, and travel freely in and out of, the United States
  • Available any time of the day, any day of the week, nights, weekends, holidays, and overnights
  • Ability to relocate or commute
  • Ability and desire to maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
