Compensation
  • New hire pilots will receive a $42,100 sign on bonus. $22,100 will be paid when the pilot is released from IOE and $20,000 will be paid after the pilot completes their third year of service if they have not upgraded to Captain*.
  • First year base rate of $36 per flight hour.
  • Upgrade to captain in as little as 20 months.
*Unless eligible for upgrade (Based on Company Seniority and FAA Part 121 requirements)

Electronic Flight Bag
  • Mesa Airlines was the FIRST airline approved for Electronic Flight usage in ALL phases of flight.
  • All manuals and charts are issued electronically at no cost via a pilot provided iPad
  • Each pilot is required to have an iPad (2, 3, 4, Air, or Air2)
Training
  • Pilots will receive FULL monthly guarantee pay of 76 hours/month
  • Training is conducted in our facility in Phoenix, Arizona
  • Company Paid ATP/CTP Course
  • The Company provides single-occupancy lodging during training
  • Positive Space Travel for training events

  • 50 hours Multi Engine Time, Fixed Wing
  • 250 hours of Pilot in Command Time, Fixed wing
  • 100 hours of Instrument Time
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi Engine and Instrument ratings
  • Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
  • Ability to demonstrate instrument proficiency
  • ATP Written (CTP training can be provided to qualified applicants)
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
  • Current Valid Passport
  • At least 23 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Able to pass security background check and FAA mandated drug test
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read and speak English language
