ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Learn from Pilot-in-Command’s experience, training and instruction
  • Assist Pilot-in-Command in operation of the aircraft as delegated by Pilot-in-Command, and operate within the provisions of the FCOM and FCTM
  • Assist Pilot-in-Command before, during, and after each flight to include pre-flight walkaround, and at conclusion assist in completing necessary reports/maintenance discrepancies
  • Validate all required charts, approach plates and other navigational publications are current and aboard the aircraft prior to the cockpit preflight
  • Delegate duties only when the Pilot-in-Command becomes incapacitated, and then assume duties of the Pilot-in-Command

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2,000 hours Total Time
  • Minimum 500 hours Pilot-in-Command
  • Minimum 500 hours Multi-Engine Land
  • Must hold FAA First Class Medical and FCC Radio License
  • Must hold FAA Unrestricted ATP with Multi-Engine and Instrument ratings, and be able to obtain PIC type rating of assigned aircraft at conclusion of new hire or transition training
  • Must have right to work in the Unites States
  • Must have a valid passport, and the ability to travel internationally to all countries Omni requires
  • Must be able to pass a 10-year Background/Criminal History Records Check and pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be 23 years of age or older
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language
  • Ability to work varying hours of the day or night, on weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and security badges
  • Excellent communication skills and quick and accurate decision-making with close attention to detail
  • Recent flying in the last 12 months

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • College degree preferred

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY

  • Must be able to obtain First Class Medical Certificate
  • Travel 100%
  • Lift up to 60 lbs

  • Able and willing to work in a culturally diverse atmosphere and professionally interact with passengers and crew under stressful conditions
  • Must be willing to work in a time-sensitive environment and effectively handle stress associated with meeting deadlines, and managing unexpected change
  • Capable of interpreting a variety of and multiple instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to communicate effectively so to be understood
  • Must be able to remain calm, think and react quickly in all types of emergency situations including but not limited to: medical emergencies, aircraft decompression, emergency evacuations, fires, security threats, passenger disturbances, turbulence, etc.
  • Able to process information quickly
  • Ability to complete routine forms, use existing form letters and/or conduct routine oral communication
  • Possess attention to detail
