Captain

Tropic Ocean Airways is the largest seaplane operator in the Eastern United States. We have safely transported nearly 20,000 passengers in 2017 throughout destinations in Florida, the Northeast U.S., the Bahamas, and the Caribbean. Tropic Ocean Airways' fleet of Cessna Grand Caravan EX aircraft are extremely versatile and capable of safely landing on water and land; thereby making Tropic Ocean Airways the airline of choice for the discerning air traveler. We are looking for PIC's to join our growing team of seaplane aviators.

Qualifications

• 1200hrs Total Flight Time
• 500hrs XC
• 100hrs Night
• 75hrs Instrument
• 100hrs Float Time
• FAA Commercial ASEL
• FAA Commercial ASES
• At least Second Class Medical
• Valid US Passport or Green Card
• FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
• Must be able to repetitively lift 50 lbs, sit or stand for extended periods of time and climb stairs throughout the day

• Turbine Time
• PIC time in Cessna 208
• Seaplane Experience

We are looking for qualified candidates who are interested, willing and able to work in various locations as required. This is a full-time/salary position and is offered with a minimum one-year contract.
